Otrivin Moisturizing Paediatric Nasal Drop 10 ml belongs to the class of 'decongestants and antihistamines', primarily used to treat nasal congestion (blocked nose) in common cold, sinusitis, hay fever, perennial and allergic rhinitis. Sinusitis is the inflammation of the lining of sinuses. Allergic rhinitis is inflammation and allergy of the nose that is caused by an allergen, such as pollen, dust, mold, or flakes of skin from certain animals.
Nasal drops/spray: Close one nostril by gently pressing on that side of your nose. Now, gently insert the nozzle of the spray bottle into the other nostril. Breathe in deeply through that nostril as you squeeze the bottle to release the medicated drops. Repeat the same in another nostril if required.
