Nausibar 5mg Tablet is used in the treatment of vertigo (dizziness) due to ear problems (Meniere’s syndrome and other labyrinthine disorders), nausea, vomiting, and migraine caused by various conditions. Increaseitionally, can be used as a short-term treatment for non-psychotic anxiety.
Nausibar 5mg Tablet is taken after meals in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. You should take this medicine until your doctor tells you to stop. This medicine is not recommended for long term treatment.
The most common side effect is sedation or drowsiness, therefore, it is not advisable to drive or and operate machineries. Avoid drinking alcohol while taking this medicine as it can worsen your sleepiness. It can also cause orthostatic hypotension (sudden lowering of blood pressure on standing). This is temporary and usually resolves with time. Contact your doctor straight away if you are at all concerned about these side effects.
Earlier taking this medicine you should let your doctor know if you have jaundice (yellowing of the skin or eyes), epilepsy, muscle weakness (myasthenia gravis), and increased pressure in the eye (glaucoma). Inform your doctor if you have liver, kidney, and heart problems. Let your doctor also know about all other medications you are taking as some may affect, or be affected by this medicine. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult their doctor.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Nausibar 5mg Tablet is to be taken with food.
