Description:
Asthakind-DX Cherry Syrup is a combination of three molecules, namely, phenylephrine, chlorpheniramine maleate, and dextromethorphan hydrobromide. These molecules acts as an antihistamine, a cough suppressant, and a decongestant. It alleviates dry cough and allergy symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose, watery eyes, and throat irritation. It also relieves congestion or stuffiness in the nose. The dose required of this syrup differs depending on age. Dextromethorphan present in the syrup decreases the activity of the brain that causes coughing, phenylephrine relives congestion by narrowing the nasal blood vessels, and chlorpheniramine inhibits the action of a natural substance called histamine. Asthakind DX Cherry Syrup is not recommended to be used for more than one week. If symptoms persist after the recommended duration of treatment, inform your doctor.
